GREETINGS FROM PRESDIENT MARK KREBSBACH

On behalf of the directors, advisors, and executive secretary of the Manitoba-North Dakota Zero Tillage Farmers Association, I would like to extend a wholesome welcome to each and every one of you. I sincerely hope that your stay in Minot for the workshop will be pleasurable and beneficial for you.

Farmers will continue to meet the increasing demands of the people of the world for more quantity and quality food. There will be farmers in the future and they will be the farmers who are more efficient producers than others. In order to become more efficient, and to stay on the cutting edge of change, and change is inevitable, education must become a continuing process.

This organization and this workshop can be a vehicle to help keep up with and stay on the leading edge of change and knowledge. We farmers have taken great strides of accomplishment, but we should not become satisfied with what we have accomplished. We need to continue to envision the future on a relentless quest to make the benefits of farming truly wholesome and satisfying for all to come

The workshop is yours, inspect the exhibits, ask questions, corner the speakers. Do what it takes to bring home a new idea or an insight on how you can do something better on your farm.

Thank you for your attendance, good luck and God bless.

As ever, a no tiller.
